Donald R. Leal is senior associate at the Political Economy Research Center in Bozeman, Montana, where he conducts research in fisheries, water, and other environmental issues. A book he co-authored received the 1992 Choice Outstanding Academic Book Award. He received his B.S. in mathematics and M.S. in Statistics from California State University at Hayward.
