Property tax reform advocates embark on public speaking tour
HALIFAX, NS – Media are invited to attend a joint public presentation on municipal income taxation as a possible alternative to property focused taxation.
What: The Atlantic Institute for Market Studies, Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives – Nova Scotia and the Nova Scotia Chambers of Commerce will each present their case for reducing or eliminating property taxes and considering the introduction of a municipal income surtax.
When: Wednesday March 20, 2013
