Former premier Frank McKenna will serve as honourary chairman of Institute of Public Administration of Canada conference
FREDERICTON – Public policy and administration experts from across the country will meet in New Brunswick this week.
The Institute of Public Administration of Canada will hold its national conference in Fredericton from today until Wednesday.
The theme of the conference is Turnarounds: Transformations in Government and Society.
Former premier Frank McKenna will serve as honorary chairman of the conference. Keynote speakers include retired Superior Court judge John Gomery; Brian Crowley, founding president of the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies (AIMS); and Louise Fréchette, former deputy secretary-general and Canadian ambassador to the United Nations. Panelists include Charles Cirtwill the Executive Vice President of AIMS.
It’s expected that roughly 450 delegates will attend.
