AIMS Acting President Charles Cirtwill recently told a Standing Senate Committee to “get out of the way” if they are really looking to turn rural poverty into rural prosperity.

The Standing Commons Committee on Science and Industry also called on AIMS for policy insight. They were told by Research Director Ian Munro that deregulation must be accelerated for consumers to benefit from telecommunications competition.
