Equalization was established to help Canadians across the country. It has failed to do that. AIMS president Brian Lee Crowley presents the evidence to show equalization actually does more harm than good. Rather than helping recipient provinces, equalization dollars do the opposite. In this speech before a luncheon crowd in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Crowley shows what’s wrong with equalization and provides guidance on how it can be fixed.
